I bought this for my 11yo daughter to wear to a band performance. She is 53" tall, 65 pounds, with an athletic build. She usually wears a big girls 12, but we ordered a 14 for this shirt and it fit perfectly.She said the cuffs on the sleeves didn't have enough stretch, so it was hard to hold her flute level, but other than that, it's comfortable.The fabric is smooth and soft, but very fine. You'll need an undershirt or slip for it, unless you want to show off your nops. I was able to pull it out of the dryer already cold without it wrinkling, which was nice. My iron can continue its hibernation. It did not seem to shrink any when washed on cold.My tiny flautist looked quite professional for her first performance and got several compliments!
