I'm a Covid sourdough baker. When I started baking seriously, back in 2020, I didn't have bread pans, so I made a lot of round loaves, which are great for dipping into olive oil or sauces, but not so much for sandwiches. I went through two other brands of loaf pans, until I found this brand. I likes the pullman style, so bought two. I can keep the lid on when I make pain de mie, or, as the photo shows, no lid for a great sourdough rise. I use parchment paper inside, so loaf removal and cleaning are a breeze. I was a little concerned about the 3 holes in the bottom, but that doesn't effect the crust.UPDATE: I've used these pans now for months, in 400-500f ovens, and they're still working great! No warpage, and the loaves come out perfectly browned, even on the bottoms. If you want sandwich slices, I'd recommend this pan.
