I work in the Automotive industry and have a collection of high end / dealer edition models including a Tesla Model S like this one. From that perspective as a "toy" vehicle at this price point this model has a lot to offer, with collectible-grade window box packaging a solid feel and a significant amount of detail. Note that installing the batteries is a bit tricky and does require a small Phillips head screwdriver. If you are over 50 like me your reading glasses and a strong light will be needed. As far as the visual and sound effects I like the headlights / taillights and the car alarm effect. However, the real quirk in the model and the reason I am giving it four stars and not five are sound effects including starting and revving that are unmistakably associated with an internal-combustion engine, in fact it sounds like a 1960s muscle car. As a modern electric vehicle, a real Tesla makes NONE OF THESE NOISES. I predict even a fairly young child will notice this. Great effort but would like to see a do-over, as well as a rendering in slightly larger and more typical 1:24 scale which I think would better serve both the toy and the collectible markets. My daughter loves the car however I ordered a pink car and got a purple send it back and they keep sending purple. Don’t advertise a item if you don’t have it she wanted the pink so bad was so disappointed at first , second and third time.My son said he wanted a Tesla for Christmas (jokingly as he’s 9 and wanted one to actually drive around in) so I bought him this instead :) silly dad gift jokes. So, this is definitely not an official Tesla Model X model, but they did a pretty good job with it, and the functional doors, trunk, and frunk. There are some amusing aspects such as the english translations, the rear-view mirror is positioned above the head of the driver's seats, and the revving engine noises when you pull the wheels back. Since Tesla's do not have gas engines, and cant "rev", this is a wild inaccuracy, but makes it pretty funny. If you're getting it as a serious gift for someone who has no sense of humor though (or perhaps if you dont have one either), that could be an issue. The headlights and brake lights illuminate when you roll it back and let go, which is cool.Everything came in perfect condition and worked as expectedPrice wise, this is an amazing deal vs the official Tesla diecast model. I'm sure the official one is leagues better, but it also costs several hundred dollars. I like Tesla stuff, but I'm not paying that for a toy.... er... collectible model.Anywho, its a knock-off, has some inaccuracies, but is cheap and surprisingly functional. I knocked one star off for the inaccuracies. While I enjoyed them, its a pretty massive oversight, but all in all this is a great deal! For starters, this is a nice vehicle. It looks like a real Tesla Model X with six functional doors. BUT… for some strange reason, every other time you open a front door (driver or passenger side) it sounds like the smoke alarm in your house is going off! My son loves this Tesla but I wish he didn’t know it could make noise. Pro tip: If you’re giving this to a child, be sure to remove the battery first!I LOVE it, it's still in the box, not sure what I'm going to do with it.My 6 year old is obsessed with Teslas so this was a birthday gift. It broke a few minutes after gently playing with it. Probably fine if it’s sitting on a shelf as a decoration but will not hold up with kid play. This is an electrical car but it makes noise like a gas car
