Refreshing and keeps the room cool.Great fans. I got them before the price went up. I only need one fan for my dog and me. It's so powerful, I have to keep it on low or everything in my house blows around. It is better than my 10 ft in diameter ceiling fans, and they make noise in the rafters. This fan does make noise, but it's a "white noise" and is good to block out the neighborhood construction sounds. It is louder then I expected since it is marketed as quiet but I love the white noise of a fan so I enjoy it.
